During a weekend workshop at the iconic Arcosanti© complex in Mayer, Arizona, I had the extraordinary privilege to immerse myself in the process of casting, creating, and designing my very own Soleri Bell. This hands-on experience allowed me to explore the intricate techniques pioneered by Paolo Soleri, as I crafted a bell with a distinct, “Arco”inspired design and a beautifully detailed copper tail. The workshop offered a rare chance to connect with both the rich architectural heritage of Arcosanti and the philosophy of craft, blending artistry, sustainability, and tradition in the creation of a piece that was uniquely my own.
