It’s very easy to get caught up in the complexities of architecture and design in general. to create something that is pure and simple that is really about the space and the space around it ignites my passion for design.
As of the Fall of 2024 I started my first year as a graduate student, bringing me back to my home state of Arizona to continue my education at the School of Architecture©, founded by Frank Lloyd Wright as the Taliesin Fellowship in 1932. I embrace the philosophy of immersive learning and learning by doing, which are core to the T.S.O.A.© experience. This approach of learning through direct engagement with the environment and the creative process aligns with my own values of design. As an environmental designer and Masters Student of Architecture, I am committed to creating atmospheres that resonate deeply with emotion. Places that not only enhance physical well being, but also evoke profound psychological and emotional responses through their connection to nature.
Growing up in both the Southwest and the East Coast, I developed an appreciation for the coexistence of environment and design. The vast landscapes and indigenous craftsmanship of the Sonoran Desert, alongside New England’s historic architecture and charm, taught me the enduring value of sustainable building principles.
I earned a degree in Environmental Design and Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder©, where I studied in a multidisciplinary studio setting, engaging with interior, product, landscape, and urban design. Since graduating in 2023, I have participated in hands-on architectural workshops, deepening my understanding of materiality, craftsmanship, and spatial experience. Additionally, I have worked as an interior design consultant in Massachusetts.
My strengths lie in sustainability and conceptualization, integrating materials and innovative ideas into cohesive designs across architecture, interiors, products, landscapes, and urban environments. I work mostly in Rhino, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Revit and I’m skilled in hand modeling, drafting, photography, and Graphic design.
Beyond architecture, I draw inspiration from art, travel, photography, and music, constantly seeking new ways to expand my creative perspective. I am committed to lifelong learning and exploration, always pushing the boundaries of my design approach. As I transition from academia to hands-on professional experiences, I am eager to collaborate with like minded designers and continue growing my creativity!
